Glass security sealing:

Hermetic glass security seals specialize in glass-to-metal hermetic seals. Glass to metal seals is custom built to your design specifications, using proprietary ”Oxide-Free” hermetic sealing process. The ”Oxide-Free” glass sealing process allows the user to specify a wider range of metals including Titanium and other exotic alloys. Standard metals such as stainless steel, Kovar and molybdenum can also be used. Metal-to-metal brazing and the casting of features in the glass, such as a recessed die mount cavity, may now be done simultaneously with the hermetic sealing process. The “Oxide-Free” process eliminates the need for post-sealing oxide removal. Therefore, very tight tolerances can be held and there is no chemical residue which can lead to “dendrite” growth. Also, because of the strength of the seal, it is ideally suited for high pressure and extreme hermeticity applications.
